About Chanel

I recently adopted this 4 1/2 year old female standard poodle to be a companion for myself as well as my male standard poodle when our 15 yr old passed away. Chanel is an adorable and sweet girl. Unfortunately when I got her hope it became immediately apparent that she has a very strong prey drive that easily provokes her to chase cats, chicken, sheep and goats. This is very sad for me because she's easy to love and cuddle with but I have several cats that I love and she just wants to kill them. Chanel seems to favor women and has bonded with me quickly. The perfect home would be with someone who is home a lot with another poodle for her to play with. A retired couple or family with children who are respectful of her. NO CATS!! A secure fence. I am going to be fussy about where she goes.
