I'm a sweet and loving 2 year old with typical young dog energy that is looking for my furever human. My foster Momma says that I am the sweetest pocket size Boxer although I don't know what that means, because in my opinion, I'm just like her. We love taking walks! I get so excited when I see my leash that I do the cutest little happy dance. My foster Momma is usually laughing too hard to get my leash on. I love all the smells and all the people we see on our walks. Speaking of people, I LOVE all the people I meet. We got to go to a kids' event and I loved all the attention I got. There were big and little people there scratching my ears and rubbing my belly. It was heaven on earth! When we are home, I like to snuggle up with my foster Momma on the couch...Yup! You heard that right; I get to be on the couch, and the bed! My foster Momma has two other fur kids that are just like me and we have the best time. I like to play with small dogs too but I think I get too excited for them because they usually don't play back. But that's ok, I still like them; I just have to remember to be gentle. I can't wait to meet you and take long walks on the beach (I've been! It's the best), maybe play at a dog park, or play fetch in the back yard...but you'll be doing the fetching,... I just like to chase the ball! Anyway, I look forward to meeting you and maybe going home with you for furever? Foster Mom here: Candace is a very energetic girl who needs to be able to run off her energy. On the flip side, she is also great at being a couch potato. She is working on her basic commands so a family that is patient and willing to continue working with her is best. Candace does great at keeping herself busy with her toys but does best when she is able to be active with you. She does great in a kennel, but needs a little motivation to go in (peanut butter in her Kong does the trick). She loves car rides and is learning that the back seat is her spot as she thinks she is a little lap dog and wants to be on your lap. She does well on a leash and is working on her pulling, after corrected a few times she will adjust to not pull on you.
