About Abel

This sweet boy is Abel and he is an absolutely wonderful 2 year old cat. He came from another shelter and we have no history about him but he is an amazing cat and has obviously been well socialized. Abel has gotten along amazingly well with everyone that he's met: cats, dogs, and people. He is really great about reading a situation and can figure out when his house mates want to play vs when they want to be left alone. Not only is Abel great with other pets but he's also a really great snuggler. He has a wonderful purr and is very sweet. He plays and wrestles well with the cats and dog in his foster home but chases toys too. Abel was in one foster home with another cat that was friendly toward him but was not overly interested in playing with him. Although Abel tried his best to respect the other cat's space, he really wanted a play mate, and began to get depressed. Abel would really like to go to a home where there are one of more playful cats or dogs that he can become friends with.
