About Pancake

This little brown and white tabby is the full package: cute but spunky, affectionate but independent, confident but smart. Pancake came to Fuzzy Pawz Rescue after being found with a sibling by a young woman who was able to find a home for one kitten and gave Pancake to one of our foster parents. Pancake started out as a naughty little kitten. She was clearly separated from mom too early and didn't have the socialization period needed to develop good kitten habits. Pancake was put on a special routine of play hunt, eat and sleep to help regulate some of her naughtiness and was put in with a litter of kittens to socialize. We are happy to report that after a few months with a litter of kittens and some corrections from her cat aunt Fera that Pancake is now a very well socialized and affectionate kitten. Pancake is happy to lay next to you and hang out or be a lap cat. She likes to stand or lay on shoulders when you're watching TV or sitting at a desk and has one of the loudest kitten purrs you've ever heard. She lives with other cats and dogs and is well socialized with both- she is a confident kitten who isn't fazed by much. You might notice that her jaw is slightly crooked and you aren't seeing things. At some point in her short life she took at hit to the jaw which made it a bit off center - it's fine and she's fine; it just gives her a unique look.
