About Chevy

Chevy was a stray cat in their area who made himself at home over a period of time. Not much is known about his past but here is what we do know. His previous owners named him Chevy because he purrs so loud it's like a Chevy engine. He is an in-your-face affectionate cat and wants nothing more than to be with you at all times. Chevy loves to lay on your chest or be on your lap any time that you'll let him (and don't get us started on what he's like to share a bathroom with). Chevy has a birth defect that makes his back legs slightly shorter than his front legs. One of his back feet has a foot abnormality where his toes are all the same length giving him a bit of a block foot. Because of this it may appear that Chevy is limping or walking strangely but he is not in any pain or discomfort. Chevy is so happy to be touched that he is very easy to groom and even give baths too. He has a long tabby coat that is easily tangled and matted so regular brushing is a must for this kid (thankfully he loves it and it's a great bonding activity). Chevy has a slightly crazed hair style with the teeniest squint in one of his eyes which makes him look eerily similar to Church from Stephen King's Pet Sematary.
