About Charlie

Hey y'all. My name's Charlie and I'm raring to go into my new family!! I had been neglected by my previous owner and arrived at the rescue very frightened. Had never seen a toy or a leash or known the joys of a good ear scratch, belly rubs or kisses. I'm all about them now though and then some!! They say that I'm some kind of hound/terrier mix, will probably top out around 40-45lbs, about 7 mos old, unsure but I know one thing for sure, I'm one handsome fellow if I do say so myself. Unless you're a little human, I may be a bit timid until I know you're safe but in no time I'm sure to think that you hung the moon and will make a loyal sidekick for life. I love other dogs and adore children and can take or leave cats. Find them rather boring actually. At least the ones I've met but I'm pretty much happy with whatever comes my way!! I love to run and play outside so, in an ideal world, my new home will have a fenced in yard but not a dealbreaker they tell me, as long as I get plenty of regular exercise. I'm getting accustomed to being crated when necessary but not for long periods and never like to do my business anywhere inside. I'm up-to-date on all vaccinations, rabies, bordetella, worming, neutered and microchipped to boot. All that's missing is you!!
