About Mavis

'Hi there, my name is Mavis and I'm hoping that I can get out of the shelter soon. I'm a super sweet, but somewhat shy kitty that came from a pretty large colony of outdoor cats before coming to the shelter. I probably didn't have too much interaction with people before coming here, but since my arrival, I've really started to get comfortable and start coming out of my shell. While I am a little shy at first, I do warm up pretty quickly. I love other kitties and would actually really love to go to a home with another well-socialized cat. I also think that I could adjust to living in a home with kids, as long as they knew to take things slow with me at first. I'd do best in a home without dogs.
