She has been vet checked, spayed, has had a full dental($600) and has had 45 days of medication on her eye($150). She is great with everybody and everything! Nice cats, nice calm dogs and nice older kids. Gypsy was named after her rescue mom 'Gypsy' who was the neighborhood cat lady, feeding, fixing and caring for the unfortunate tame kitties that the neighborhood ruthlessly abandoned. She also fed, fixed and cared for the outside feral cats. When she unexpectantly died she had left money to her family to care for her babies. They took the money and ran! They threw the tame ones out who then scampered under the trailer in fear and then the family quit feeding the feral colony. Their savior steps in and does right for 'rescue mom Gypsy' and the cats, continuing with TNR and getting the tame ones off the street. Gypsy Grace was ready. She jumped right into the car and said let's go! PETS ARE FAMILY MEMBERS. PLEASE GET HELP IF YOU CAN NOT KEEP A PET. MAKE THE EFFORT! IT'S A LIFE! Gypsy is happy healthy and feeling good! It took a bit to get her here but it's worth it to see her so frisky, fun and loving personality. She is the best companion. She loves when you talk to her and will quietly meow back. As bad as she wants her people love she is patient and will wait for you. If you sit she is in your lap and content to stay there for hours. At some point in her life her eye was slightly damaged, the vet thinks probably by another cats claw. Even though it is not perfect she can see fine and it doesn't require anything. I have had her for a spring and a fall, the worst allergy seasons Phoenix has to offer. Her eyes have watered and I just wipe them and she is fine. Allergy season is over and her eyes are clear again, no different than us humans with allergies. She has the longest, skinniest tail ever that she will wrap around herself like a monkey. She LOVES her canned food twice a day and will nibble on her hard food throughout. She is a little cautious when the 4 rowdy dogs run in and around the room otherwise she sits like a princess on the bed or chair content, waiting for you to sit or lay down so she can be on you. Interactive toys like feather on a stick and shoe lace drag as well as the Fling ama String and the $2 'cat dancer' toy are good bonding toys and she loves them. She loves kitty treats and a tall cat tree sitting in front of the window with the sun rays beaming in. She will expect to share your pillow. Below information is for preventative purposes'| Too many male AND female cats are getting the UTI - urinary tract infection and crystals in their urine. It's a blockage, it's painful and if ignored will lead to death. Vets say the hard food is at fault because it does not deliver enough liquids. A quality hard food along with a can of food a day is a must for cats to help manage their fluids. Dry foods that help maintain UTI health are Hills, Royal Canine and Purina Pro Plan and Urinary Tract Health and other quality foods. Cats/Kittens are an 18 year commitment! They need a cat tree, laser lite, inside home ADOPT Gypsy Grace FOR LIFE!
