About GODIVA

Adoption Fee: $ 400.00
Maltese / Poodle
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

SAY HELLO TO GODIVA ! Godiva is an adorably sweet 3 year old Maltese / Poodle mix girl. Weighing in at 14 pounds, this little lady is personality plus! A little shy upon when meeting new people, Godiva is a very puppyish, girly, dog. She is a very dainty pup oh so but playful and gentle. She very much likes to snuggle up with on the bed with you at night. Godiva is a sweet girl who thrives on love and attention. She will try her hardest to please you. She loves to go on walks and is friendly with almost everyone although she is sometimes protective. She was surrendered because her owner lived on the third floor of her building and often could not take her out to potty. She does use the dog door at her foster's home but will need some consistent and frequent potty breaks until she is back on a schedule. Godiva is a very bright girl. She is will need a family that will continue her house training as she is not completely housebroken. She rides very nicely in the car and walks politely on her leash. She has not been exposed to kids, so we are thinking families with kids over the age of 10 who have gentle respectful hands as well as have experience with small dogs. Godiva gets on very well with her foster mates and is simply a pleasure to have around. Won't you consider this sweetheart for the perfect new addition to your family? Godiva is a longer coated breed that will require regular weekly brushing and professional grooming every 10 to 12 weeks as her coat seems to grow slowly. Godiva's adoption fee is $400.00 This fee includes her Veterinarian Wellness checks while here at the rescue, her spay, all vaccinations including rabies and bordatella, de-worming, a pre-adoption professional groom and a microchip with lifetime membership. Godiva will also have a new collar and leash as well as a gift bag which includes among other things, a starter bag of the quality grain free kibble that she has been eating. Her adoption fee also allows us the ability to put funds towards the next little one in need of rescue!
