I may be named after a beautiful part of Utah but I have brought all that's beautiful about being a Boxer to the Pacific Northwest. I have been described by many as a 'big lovable guy' and they say I'm mature for my age (which I like to think is a compliment). I'd describe myself as not too demanding and I am really eager to go with the flow. Being around loving people is the best environment I know and I'm grateful to be here. There really is nothing better. I am a proud member of the clean plate club but I have to be honest and 'fess up that I need 'alone time' when it comes to food or treats; namely when meals are being prepared and when it is being served. I also think that all food left out must be meant for me so it is best that counters are kept clear so I don't misunderstand. I don't need much of a workout and love to lounge around with my humans instead. I don't mind going for walks if you like them and the leash thing doesn't bother me. On sunny days there's nothing better than basking in the sun and after a hard day of just being me, I'm ready to hit the hay. My foster family says I'm a heavy sleeper and they appreciate that I let them sleep too. I get along with other dogs but I'm sort of old fashioned as I like to be introduced properly. I fancy myself a ladies man and mellow dogs are my friends of choice. Sometimes younger dogs are a bit overwhelming - Been there / Done that! I'll leave the 'zoomies' to them. I would love nothing better than to find a home that just wants to love me - you have my word that I'll give all that love back to you and then some! If you are home most of the day, that would be perfect as I don't like being alone. Otherwise, a fur sister or brother to keep me company at home would be great too.
