OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS: We do allow out-of-state adoptions for ADULT dogs, however, the adopter MUST come to Houston to get the dog and take the dog home with them. We do not allow our dogs to be shipped. Also, our puppies can only be adopted to the immediate Houston vicinity as it takes 4 months to get them completely vetted at our vet here in Houston. We will not allow our dogs/puppies to be adopted out of the area without being spayed/neutered. We spay/neuter puppies at 4 months old. Hello Houston, I'm Texan! I came to K-9 Angel's with my 5 litter mates, we are known as the NFL puppies. Just so happens I am lucky enough to be named after the home team! I have been doing great in my foster home. There are kids, another dog and even a cat- I love them all. I really like to play with my toys, run around, or just explore the backyard. I am just a go with the flow kinda guy- I will wrestle and play or just snuggle with you on the couch. I am really close to being completely potty trained, I even go to the backdoor and ask to go out. I also sleep in my crate all night after only a minute or two of protest. I am still learning how to walk on leash. I don't know why my foster mom thinks it is so important, I stay right with her and always come when called. If you think my pictures are cute, wait til you see me in person. You can come check me out at the Adoption Center this weekend, I would love to meet my forever family soon! Texan is a Male Terrier/Lab mix born around 8/6/2019. PUPPIES: Young puppies that have not had their second round of puppy shots will not be at the Adoption Center for our weekend adoption events. If your application is approved, a meeting can be arranged. Also, we only adopt young puppies locally due to the 4 month time frame it takes to get them fully vetted and altered. SPAY/NEUTER: As we believe proper healthcare of one's pet is a requirement of good ownership K-9 Angels Rescue only adopts out dogs that have been fully vetted. If the dog being adopted is not already altered at the time of their adoption, the dog will be altered within 2 weeks of adoption at our vet at our cost, with the exception of puppies which will be altered as soon as the puppy is ready.
