About Chewie

Introducing Chewie! She is a 6-8 year old, 11 pound Yorkie mix! She belonged to an older lady who realized she couldn't take care of her properly any more so she surrendered her to us so we could find her a new home. Chewie is a very affectionate girl who loves to sit on laps or right next to her person, go for walks on her leash with her foster siblings, and sleep in the big bed. She craves attention and her tail wags a mile a minute when you talk to her. She waits up at night for her foster mom to go to bed, even though the other dogs are already in the big bed. Chewie was matted and full of fleas when she was rescued. She apparently was living outside with not a lot of human interaction, but you wouldn't know that when you meet her! She has an incredibly sweet disposition! She got a spa day courtesy of Vanity Fur and she looks amazing now! She seems to be housebroken and loves to be indoors. She made friends with her foster mom's small Yorkies immediately. Chewie loves to play with squeaky toys, but the one toy she loves more than anything is a sock monkey that came in with her. The sock monkey is her steadfast companion and she loves, loves it. We promised we would make sure Chewie kept it with her always! She is up to date on shots, heartworm negative, spayed, and microchipped with a lifetime registration. Chewie is such a sweet precious girl that everyone who meets her falls in love with her.
