About Taffy

Adoption Fee: $125
Domestic Cat
Age: Young Kitten
Sex: Female

Hi there! My name is Taffy, and I'm a very affectionate, friendly, energetic, confident, curious, adventurous, and playful tortoiseshell DSH gal who was born in July 2019. My fur is black with dapples of buff scattered on my face, sides, and paws. It looks like I've been dipped in caramel at a candy factory! In fact, I got my name because of my taffy-colored mittens. I'm very attached to my foster meowmy and like to follow her wherever she walks or sits. That's because I'm a lap cat who loves to be ensconced in her lap! My brother Josh and I were discovered by our future foster meowmy when we were about 4 weeks old huddled in a ball on her porch one rainy Sunday morning. She brought us into her safe, dry home and contacted Buster's Friends to assist her in finding us all good forever homes. I'm the brave one, so I'm the first to explore everything. In fact, Foster Meowmy sometimes calls me Dora the Explorer! I'm a busy girl who loves to run and play as well as be the first in every activity. Other than that, we're healthy kittens who thrive on our foster meowmy's attention and love -- and reciprocate with purrs and snuggles. In fact, another one of my nicknames is Big Purr the Lap Kitten! We entertain ourselves with just about anything, including ribbons and feathers, not to mention that we frequently chase/ roughhouse with each other. We love to display our parkour antics as we race rapidly around the house as well as run, jump, and climb on the six-foot cat tree. We're fun to watch because we seem to have two speeds: fast and asleep. Since there're no other pets or kids in my foster home, it's hard to say, but more than likely I'm young and adaptable enough to adjust easily to other kitties, feline-friendly dogs, and kids in my future household. Although we're available separately, we think it would be the cat's meow if Josh and I could be adopted together. Two is better than one, and we could keep each other company when you're at work or on vacation. No matter what, it would be a shame for a kitten my age not to have another feline playmate in my new home with whom to roughhouse, groom, cuddle, and comfort me. I hope that reading about my torpedo-like personality has intrigued you so that you'll arrange to meet me (and Josh, for that matter!) today. I want to climb up in YOUR lap, where you can guess the decibels on my purr motor, which sounds like a perking coffeepot. Taffy is updated on shots, spayed, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for her indoor-only home. No de-clawing permitted. Her adoption fee is $125 ($225 for the bonded pair) for kittens 9 months old and younger, cash or check payable to Buster's Friends. Please click the contact button if you are interested in Taffy, and we can let you know exactly where you can meet her.
