About Daisy Mae

Border Collie mix
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

Daisy Mae adopted me and my other critters when she was about 4 months old; she repeatedly climbed and crawled her way into my yard. After multiple attempts to get the people with whom she was supposed to belong to come and get her, and then prepare a good space for her at their place, I gave up and began training her to be indoor/outdoor, and to behave as best as possible. Then, I took a new job and moved. . . so Daisy came with us. Unfortunately, the new job was temporary, and didn't become permanent as I had hoped, so I am in transition. Daisy loves me, and I LOVE Daisy. But, she is unhappy with our current situation. I am trying to work, travel for work, and keep up with an evolving and tentative situation. Daisy LOVES people and just wants to be WITH her person. She is SO smart, and very trainable. She needs to be socialized, as I see some vague signs of aggression forming in her, and she has become very needy. She can leap 6-foot fences easily, and she just always wants to be with me. She would do well in a home with a person who could take her with them a lot - could be a great work dog on a farm or ranch, but only if she gets love and attention from her people. She is healthy, up to date on all shots, spayed and just simply adorable. It breaks my heart to even consider rehoming her, but her happiness is more important.
