About Kallie

This little beauty if Kallie and she is a 12 week old female German Shepherd Lab mix! She is sweet and playful and full of personality. When Kallie went in for her spay surgery the doctors found that her kidney was deformed and inflamed. It was a good thing they caught it when they did cause the state of her kidney, had gone unnoticed, and could have been life threatening, had we not caught it when we did. The amazing doctor Nunnery, removed it and she has recovered beautifully. We do not expect this to cause her any trouble in the future. Dr. Nunnery said that she may need to have her kidney levels checked yearly when she gets into her older adult into senior years, but other then that she is 100%. She does not need special food or any extra care and she is a beautiful and fun loving perfect little puppy. We have been having trouble getting her adopted though because she is considered special needs cause she only has one kidney! I was hoping someone may see her post and love her just as she is! She is a great dog! Loves people and kids and other pups too. Doesn't mind kitty cats either. She is high energy, so an active family would be best for her. She is currently available through our pre-adoption program and we are hoping to find her a home before our next transport!
