About Ryker

This Handsome Boy is RYKER a gorgeous Long Haired Weimaraner./Mix Ryker is 2yrs old he is a handsome boy and a unique mix He is adorable and everything you can imagine in a happy boisterous boy Ryker's story )))) We don't have a lot of history on Ryker we pulled from a high Kill Shelter high he was terrified it is unclear how he came to be in the shelter in the first place some shelters do not give us much or any information, Ryker has been at our Georgia base for a while. Ryker is everything you would expect of a young boy he is playful and a little boisterous at times, He loves to run in the yard and if he can get into mischief or roll around in mud this boy will be right there, He is fun to be around, It is clear he still needs some discipline direction and boundaries, He is a fast learner and is very smart, On the flip side Ryker just loves to snuggle and be close to you, he is a loving boy and does need his own family He has many of the Weimaraner traits boy that so much wants his own family to snuggle with you and share your ice cream, Ryker will make a great boy with the right family and interaction, Ryker can be dog selective most likely due to his history He does get along with others but some he dosent whether this is fear or he just needs a calmer environment I am not sure So we feel he would do better as an only dog where he can get much needed attention and interaction, discipline and boundaries We are now searching for a wonderful forever home for Ryker A family that understands our weimaraner breed would be good he does come with many Weimaraner traits, But more essential is a family that will love and cherish this boy as much as we do. A home that will give him stability and security that he needs Ryker has Excelled in the time he has been with us. He is so lovable he deserves a family that will give him the love and attention he deserves He loves to be around humans. His Weimaraner traits give him the ability to only hear what he wants to hear so a strong leader is needed. He is energetic, fun and playful. Ryker is house trained He is intelligent and smart and will easily pick up your routine. We are looking for a family that is home most of the day He is a typical Weim that dosent like to be left alone for hours on end We are looking for a family that has time to invest in him. Ryker is crate trained however we are looking for someone that is not going to crate for long hours he dosent do well in a crate, We do have to crate him periodically at our base because of the others to keep everyone safe, He will certainly excel with more freedom and human interaction like most weimaraners he loves home comforts and to be close to his humans. ,A home with a fenced in yard is another requirement no apartments or rental properties & No Cats for Ryker, We are looking for a home that is a little quieter with no small children Ryker would do well with an older family that has time to take him places and share activities. Ryker is Neutered, current on all vaccinations heartworm Negative and he is micro.chipped. He is happiest being in a family environment and enjoying freedom to run outdoors and relax with you in the home. We are looking for a forever home that can cherish him and give him the love and attention he needs, A family that is really stable and can give him that forever home that means forever. We don't want to ever find this boy back in a shelter. Ryker will excel with the right interaction. To adopt Ryker it is a long term commitment but a commitment that will bring you great joy Could you be the one to make this special boys life complete.
