This Stunning Boy is ELI he is a Purebred Gray Ghost Weimaraner Eli has just turned 8 yrs, he is gorgeous and he is a big boy around 85lbs. He has come from what was once a reputable breeder in Alabama and has one owner since he was a puppy, So why is this gorgeous boy in rescue? Elis story is a sad one Eli has lived with his best buddy a chihuahua for 6 yrs A month ago one of the owners threw some meat on the floor and both Eli & The Chihuahua both ran for it Eli Slipped and fell on the Chihuahua and the little one died of crushed lungs, As a result the owner cannot be around Eli we left it a while hoping the owner would change their mind but sadly it is getting worse and Eli was constantly placed in boarding when the other owner traveled for work, Eli dosent know what he has done he just knows his buddy is not there and his life has changed, Eli was his daddy's buddy before he was married and the little one came along with his daddy s new partner The loss of her Chihuahua is too much and she cant be around Eli. Eli has been well taken care of and his daddy is heartbroken, So we are now searching for a new home for Eli So what are we looking for in Eli's. new home first and foremost we are looking for an established Weimaraner family someone that fully understands our breed this is a must NO exceptions. A family that can restore the love Eli once had his world has fallen apart at the moment We are looking for someone that is home most of the day and has time to invest in our sweet Boy, A home with a fenced in yard is another requirement no apartments or rental properties, Eli loves to run in the yard he is active Playful and energetic but he will tell you when he has had enough, He loves to be active but on the flip side he loves to relax with you on the sofa, He loves the water likes to swim not sure how he would do in a pool but he loves the lake water he often went to the lake with his daddy, Eli can have a protective nature that comes with most weims He loves to play fetch and likes to ride in the car, Eli would be good as an only dog or with a submissive female At this stage I am not going to say another male. He is good around others but right now he is confused at what has happened to him. He is a big boy so no toddlers or younger children and NO Cats and due to the accident no small dogs, Eli is a great boy and would make a wonderful companion and would love to share adventures. All this boy needs is love affection and someone that has time to spend with him and restore what he has lost. Eli knows Commands Sit Down Stay but occasionally will jump up on you in excitement He does walk on a leash may need a little training he is used to being off leash with a electronic collar.
