SAY HELLO TO WILLIE! Willie is an adorable purebred 2 year old snowy white Maltese boy. Weighing in at 10 pounds, little Willie is such a sweet boy. Willie was surrendered because his owners were unable to care for him. Willie is a sweet boy who bonds very strongly to his master and then is protective. We have worked diligently with him to get him used to being handled by multiple people and he's improving greatly. He is good with his foster mates, but does get jealous. So a submissive small breed female of like age would be best for Willie or as an only dog. He does not like to be left alone and is not fond of a crate but he may need to be crated when left alone. He's a beautiful boy and very cuddly and sweet. He would love a home with an older person or couple who are home a lot of the time. Willie is learning the house training and is improving every day. Please note that like all rescues, he will need gentle guidance and patience as he learns his new family's routine. He is leash trained, rides politely in the car and greets all he meets with a smile and a tail wag. Willies's family will be adults or adults with kids over the age of 12 who have experience, gentle hands and respect for small dogs like Willie. Wille is a longer coated breed that will require regular brushing as well as professional grooming every 6 to 8 weeks. Willie's adoption fee is $ 450.00 This fee includes his Veterinarian Wellness checks while here at the rescue, all vaccinations including rabies and bordatella, de-worming, a pre-adoption professional groom and a microchip with lifetime membership. Willie will also have a new collar and leash as well as a gift bag which includes among other things, a starter bag of the quality grain free kibble that he has been eating.
