About Binkie

Adoption Fee: $75
Bombay / Siamese
Age: Young Kitten
Sex: Female

Binkie is an adorable chocolate black with white short hair female.approx 6mo. Her adoption fee is $75. She has been vet checked and spayed. She is great with nice cats, nice dogs, older kids. A cruel person dumped an unfixed cat at a feral cat feeding station. She had her kittens and then abandoned them at 4 weeks. They have been loved and cared for by the feeding station monitor. IF YOU CAN NOT TAKE CARE OF A LIFE THEN GET HELP! ABANDONING AN ANIMAL TO DIE ALONE IS CRUEL AND AGAINST THE LAW. Binkie is a funny little kitty. She wants attention so badly, to be touched, to be near her people but she is so reluctant. Not scared or aggressive just without confidence. She won't let you just walk up to her and pick her up on your terms but she seems to get her courage when you are laying down relaxing. Then she will plop down on you for some pets, realize what she is doing, jump down then meow for more love. If you are sitting still she will come to you, stare straight into your eyes and cry helplessly. You pet her, she loves it then loses confidence, runs off then comes back for more. I don't understand why she doesn't feel completely safe. She is in the first house she remembers with very loving people. Her 2 siblings that were adopted were very friendly, in your face, type of kitties. It has gotten a little better with time but in a new home I'm sure she will regress a bit and need an adjustment period. So bottom line'| she is a very healthy lovely companion kitty that loves to be talked to, that has no aggressive tendencies, that won't let you go to her for love but will go to you on her terms for however long she wants. AND she is a great playmate for other kitties! She loves interactive toys and will play with you if you are not grabbing at her. Her favorite toy is a laser pointer. She will even come up next to you for love if it's calm and quiet. It seems to be whatever she is in the mood for. She is wonderful if you don't expect anything from her. She can be very talkative when she wants attention and she is a great kitty friend for a cat. Kittens are players that need lots of toys. They love boxes, interactive toys like feather on a stick and shoe lace drag as well as the 'Fling ama String' and the $2 'cat dancer' toy. She has been free fed quality hard food (the first ingredient beginning with meat), she gets quality canned food morning and night and need kitten food till she is 1 year old. She loves kitty treats in small dosages while young and needs a tall cat tree preferably in front of the window with the sun rays beaming in. They need playmates, cat tree, laser lite, inside home Cats/Kittens are an 18 year commitment! Below information is for preventative purposes'| Too many male AND female cats are getting the UTI - urinary tract infection and crystals in their urine. It's a blockage, it's painful and if ignored will lead to death. Vets say the hard food is at fault because it does not deliver enough liquids. It's simple to monitor. Just make sure there is at least one good size pee ball in the litter box a day. Kitty fountains are effective to help manage a cats fluids. A diet of good quality canned food pate is better than dry food however there are some dry foods that are pH balanced and help maintain Urinary Tract - UT health like Blue Buffalo, Purina Pro Plan, Purina One UT health, Iams UT health. AVOID FISH! ADOPT Binkie FOR LIFE! CNPS text 602-332-6615 email [email protected] REMEMBER WHEN YOU ARE ADOPTING A PET YOU ARE ADOPTING A FAMILY MEMBER FOR LIFE! THEY ARE NOT THROW AWAY TOYS! WHEN YOU MOVE YOU TAKE YOUR CHILDREN, YOUR BELONGINGS, YOUR PETS. IT'S A LIFE, A COMMITMENT TO THE END. If you need any type of help with an animal this is a great place to start.
