About DEACON BLUE

Deacon Blue is a charismatic LILAC POINT BALINESE. He is about 5 years old, neutered, weighs a little over 10 pounds and has his claws. He has been fully vetted including having had a dental. He has beautiful, expressive sky blue eyes and a silky coat in shades of light cream and pale blue-grey. He came into SPCR's care from a large, local public shelter. In foster care, Deacon Blue has been a loving boy. He always comes to greet his foster mom when she comes into his foster room. He loves to be doted on, likes to sit next to you to receive pets, although every now and then he can get a little 'caught up in the moment' and will want to give a little love nibble. He likes to let his kitty side show during playtime, especially with a wand toy. But he also has a quiet side where he just likes to sit in his cat tree and watch the world go by or nap in a sunny spot. Deacon Blue is a social boy, but he prefers to share his company with people over other cats, so he would like to be the only kitty in his forever home. He would be ok around respectful older kids that have grown up with a cat(s). His foster parents have no knowledge if he has ever lived with a dog. But he may be fine with an older dog that has lived with a cat before and would basically ignore him. Deacon Blue is a handsome boy looking for a forever home to call his own. ADOPTION FEE $175.
