About Murray

Meet Murray!! This gorgeous border collie/lab mix was surrendered to a kill shelter up in Page,AZ along with his mother & siblings. While his mother was very social (& has since been adopted), Murray is very timid & doesn't seem to have been socialized very well in his young puppyhood. He is doing great, however & is starting to learn humans aren't so bad :) He needs a home with someone who understands fearful dogs & one where he can continue to blossom & be exposed to the world-- new people & environments. He absolutely needs patience & needs someone who understands she may not 'love' you right away. He's scared & it will take time. He will do best with other dogs as he loves to play & they help him be more social. He is 6-9 months old & about 35/40 lbs. He is Dog friendly & would be fine with older, calm kids. Cats unknown. His foster mom says he gets better & better every day & will come up to people now instead of just run like he used to. He also let her 'torture' him with snuggles :) He is fine in a crate seems to be mostly potty trained but still has an occasional accident. He does not yet understand the leash.
