About Darci

Save a life that is in danger. This girl is an adorable chunky 38lb Staffie. Darci , only a puppy herself, came into the shelter with a litter of puppies. She was a good Mom and all of her babies got adopted but she was always overlooked. After months in the crowded shelter she started getting stress and is now in a temporary foster home. In her foster home she always uses the dog door and has not had accidents in the house. She gets along and loves to play with her large male foster dog brother. She is clean and quiet in a crate and rarely barks. She loves the plastic pool. She has never tried to escape the fence. She loves to ride in the car. She loves to snuggle and likes to hang out close to her people. She is left loose during the day with the dog door and is great (except for tracking mud on the floor) but she is crate trained if you don't have a dog door. Her ideal home will have no small children and a fenced yard. We fear that when she has to go back to the shelter stress will get to her again. Her adoption fee is waived to a certified rescue group or an approved home with a vet references. She doesn't hate kids but she is acts protective. She will need a home without children.
