About McKenna

McKenna is a very loving and gentle dog. She is an INSIDE only dog and can not be kept outdoors in a kennel! My parents purchased her from a breeder in Va. in 2012, she was approximately 2 years old when they picked her up. Recently my father had passed away and now my mothers health has taken a turn for the worse and she can't take care of the dog anymore. Since my Mother has become ill and handicapped, the dog has been taking it very hard. She is showing signs of anxiety and depression and I would really like to find a great happy/friendly home for her, where she can get the attention and love that she needs. She is great with kids, cats and other dogs, however she will not be given to any household that has a Pitbull (no exceptions). She is a bit older, but you would not know it by watching her. She is very active, loves to run (and dig), and must be let out in a very secure fenced in back yard, as she is an escape artist. She loves to be outside, especially when it is cooler out, but she can not be kept outside. Please text or e-mail only.
