About AUTUMN

WAGS RESCUE OFFICIALLY PRESENTS MISS AUTUMN!!! 3 1/2 weeks ago this girl came to us barley able to stand. Some 4 wheeling teens found her hairless, starved,eating a carcass and desperate in the middle of nowhere! Apparently dumped and discarded like trash to fend for herself. When she came here I thought she was just a puppy as she weighed 13 lbs. and had no idea her breed. Well, the vet visit confirmed she was actually 5 1/2 mos. She has now doubled her weight and is the apple of our eye. Her skin has healed and the hair grew back to a beautiful blue brindle. She is a pocket size pittie with a heart bigger than her body. She is 25 lbs and will stay on the smaller side. SHe is leash trained, crate trained and now fully vetted. She is the most thankful dog we have had come thru here of late. As you can see, there is always hope for these dogs if humans can just make a little effort. Miss Autumn would have greatly appreciated that instead of being driven to the woods and dumped. I can't say enough about this sweet girl and her laid back, gentle personality. She is now ready to consider a new family who will love her forever. APPLY at wags-rescue.org
