Willis had been hopping around with a broken leg for 5 weeks by the time we got him. We wanted to save the leg and knew it was a long shot so we had the leg pinned. The poor little guy spent 10 weeks on crate rest recovering from that surgery and has FINALLY been given medical clearance! He's got limited use of the leg but it is saved and the Dr suspects it'll get better with time. Willis is about 4 years old and weighs 20 pounds. He's a bouncy little fellow who loves to cuddle and is a lot of fun. After all he's been through, he gets scared easily and would do best in a quiet environment. We're hoping to find him a soft lap that has a rocking chair. He loves those. Willis ignores cats and plays well with female dogs. He's not good with other males. When another male is near, he gets a Napoleon Complex - possibly because he wasn't neutered until we got him. He's crate trained and does very well on car rides and out in public. He's friendly to strangers as long as they don't try to pick him up. Willis is a sweet little man who doesn't deserve to be in a shelter. PLEASE - if you can help him, fill out this easy online application. https://form.jotform.com/80595190554159 We'd love to talk with you about our baby boy.
