About Dandy

Dandy is a 14 YO female mini dachshund. Cushings Disease has not been formally diagnosed but strongly suspected due to several symptoms including muscle and hair loss, frequent thirst and frequent urination. She is friendly and cuddly. Dandy was paper trained but her 'aim' and cooperation are diminishing - she needs frequent potty breaks (hourly is best). She likes people, dogs and cats, is good with children but due to the breed's sensitive backs recommend that children are supervised and discouraged from picking her up. She has poor dental health typical of dachshunds.
