About Chrysanthemum

Chrysanthemum, or Chrissy for short, is a 2 1/2 year old, 7# female chihuahua. Chrissy loves people and is inquisitive and playful in nature. She loves exploring her foster home and stopping in for a cuddle in between playing with toys and chasing the resident dogs. She can be intimidated by larger dogs at first, but picks up on the play routine quickly. Chrissy has also shown no issues with the resident cat. Chrissy appears to be housebroken, walks nice on a leash and can settle in her crate. Crissy is also HW negative, spayed, UTD on vaccines and currently fostered in Carlisle, PA. We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $300 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $350 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate.
