About Rapunzel

Rapunzel is a sweet, loyal, smart, and athletic girl. She absolutely loves to run and play with the resident canines. She also enjoys snuggling. This speedy girl is kennel trained, house broken, and walks well on a leash. Rapunzel is a shy girl who takes time to warm up and trust new people (males longer than females). She would be best in a one or two adult household. A canine companion in the home would be a huge plus for her. Rapunzel's foster parents continue to work on helping her build confidence in herself and trust in people. She would love to find a forever home to continue to teach her what it is like to feel safe and loved. Rapunzel will need a secure yard with a six foot privacy fence. MEDICAL NEED: Rapunzel went in to the vet this week to recheck her blood and urine in order to gauge if there is any progression/deterioration/change in kidney function and everything was the same. She did still have bacteria in her urine, so she's back on meds for that. She still takes the blood pressure medication as they felt it was good for her kidneys (blood pressure checked a couple months ago). In terms of medical expense, I don't know if the blood pressure medication s a life long thing or what, but does seem to be a common prescription. I had asked the vet about lifespan when we first found out about the kidney issue and from that I would think she'll have at least 6 years.
