About Poppy

Poppy is coming out of her shell more each day. Her and her sister, Quin, were dumped and on the run for at least 2 weeks before getting caught and taken to the shelter. They are still very cautious of strangers, but are learning what love is. She is currently being treated for demodex mange, but did not break out as bad as her sister. She is on medication for this and it is clearing up nicely. This type of mange is not contagious. Poppy gets along great with the kittens in her foster home and even plays with them every once in awhile. She also does really good with the other dogs in the home and loves to watch their every move to see how they interact with strange objects. There is a 2 year old child in the house who she does really well with. And Poppy LOVES the baby pool! She will make an amazing family pet!
