About Jackie

Adoption Fee: 200
Pit Bull mix
Age: Adult
Sex: Female

Hospice dog. Jackie was diagnosed with ventricular premature contractions. In the EKG she has four of those dips, which is bordering on significant. Treatment is controversial in asymptomatic dogs. The symptoms are weakness and collapsing. Perferred Home : Only dog or a home that will keep her separate from their other pets -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jackie is in foster!Jackie is a sweetheart, she starts the day with breakfast and a walk around the neighborhood park. She loves her walks; she does not pull the leash and walks perfect. In the backyard she loves rolling around in the grass and playing catch with a tennis ball. The afternoons are usually spent on the couch watching Dr Phil, she is surely a couch potato. Supper is 5.30 pm and she sure likes those green beans along with her kibble. Her foster tried chopped carrots as a snack and Jackie did not like them. Car rides are her favorite, especially when they give out dog treats at the drive through. Jackie spends her nights in her dog bed in her foster's bedroom. She is no problem during the night, although she does snore. Jackie does not like her crate. Her foster leaves the door open and she occasionally goes in and comes back out again. Her foster tried her in her crate the other night and was only gone for about 30 minutes. When she returned Jackie had bent some of the bars on the crate. Jackie's foster leaves her out now when she leaves and Jackie does great. She is usually asleep on the coach when her fofster returns. Adoption Fee: $200 - Includes Spay/Neuter, Microchip, and UTD on all vaccines. https://beautiesandbeasts.org/adopt/our-dogs/jackie
