Amelia is believed to be a collie/lab/retriever mix puppy. Amelia is 42 pounds. She was homeless, before being rescued, so her past is an absolute mystery. Because Amelia has had a bumpy start in life, she needs to be in a calm, supportive environment where she can blossom into a confident gal, at her own pace. Amelia does well with other dogs, so long as properly introduced, and we believe living with cats is possible with some additional training. Amelia can live with children over the age of 10, who have a clear understanding of her special needs. She is spayed, UTD on vaccines, and microchipped. She would really, really love for someone to adopt or foster her. I think the most wonderful thing about choosing to help a dog like Amelia is you get to become the center of her whole world, by introducing her to things she has probably never experienced, like belly rubs, treats, toys, and a soft bed.
