About Charlie

Charlie is a cute cat who has stayed somewhat high energy even though she's not so young anymore. She's very curious, but also somewhat of a scared-y cat when it comes to new people or places. She is very loving when it's just my husband or I, but unfortunately she has not learned to get along with our kids. She will be the perfect pet for someone who loves to snuggle with a purring cat a lot, and devote themselves to her! She doesn't do well with cages, and has been asked to not come back to PetSmart Pet Hotel because she's aggressive towards people when she's caged up there. When she's free to roam without children chasing her around, she's great. She does also throw up her food regularly. We've had her checked for stomach and tooth problems, but they haven't found anything. We think it's her fear of food being taken away that causes her to eat too quickly and not chew her food. We are getting ready to move into a new house, and we have a newborn baby as well. Charlie had been a great cat for us for 8 years, but we want to find her a home without children where she can be the center of attention and get the love that she deserves!
