About Baron

Baron is a 4 year old Siberian Husky in great health. He is a foster at the moment, and we would like to find him a home in a cooler climate. He does get cabin fever being indoors too long, and he will bolt any chance he gets if not properly exercised. You will need a fenced in or blockwall back yard. He will dig out also so you need to be sure any gates ate reinforced and he can't dig his way out. He is high energy. Living in the desert with 116 degree summers is not his cup of tea. He wants to be outside playing all year round. He loves going on long walks and hikes. Though you will need to build his stamina up just like you would a human. He is stuck indoors all through summer so in winter we build his stamina & endurance up slowly by increasing length of activity and intensity. He is great with small kids and big kids so long as the kids are respectful. He gets along with most dogs but not cats or other small animals. He is a lover. A total sweetheart. He loves cuddles, self initiating pet sessions by going under your hand and making you pet him. We are only considering adopters from up North. Flagstaff, Prescott, etc... Cooler weather areas as his fur coat makes him overheat quickly in high temps. We did microchip him and he's neutered and up to date. We have been his foster for 1 year.
