About Marie

Marie is a lab/hound mix that was dumped on one of our dirt roads, along with her brothers. She was very shy at first, but has improved. She is still a little shy when she first meets you, but wouldnt you have trust issues coming from where she has. It took us weeks to catch them and had to use humane traps. While in our care, we have worked to socialize her and get her ready for a home that she deserves. I truly believe that she would make a great and loving pet is someone was just willing to give her a chance and be patient. She gets along well with other dogs and actually comes out of her shell quicker when other dogs are involved. Marie weighs between 35-40 lbs and we believe that she is approximately 6-7 months old. She has been heartworm tested and is negative. She has also been de-wormed and given all of her parvo/distemper vaccines.
