About Nia

*SOUTH FLORIDA ADOPTIONS ONLY- BROWARD, PALM BEACH, MARTIN, DADE AND LEE COUNTIES ONLY! Nia Maltese was bought at a puppy store and has led a sheltered, pampered life�%A0mainly indoors. She has had another small dog companion and she is starting to play with her foster dog pals. She is very affectionate with her people and may bark at new people, but once they put their hand palm up so she can smell them, she is alright. She needs to have more socialization in different in environments, like with the basic walk. We are looking for an adult home that will help Nia�%A0feel secure getting to know all types of life out of the house with her people. She will use the fenced in yard to go potty and she will also use a pee pad if it's raining outside! LOL!�%A0 She's not a wet grass chick. Nia is 7 years old and almost 8 pounds. She has had a�%A0dental cleaning with her spay. Nia is looking for an active adult home socialize her and give her the love she needs. She will need monthly grooming as well as monthly heartworm prevention which every dog in Florida should be on because of mosquitos.�%A0She has been groomed since these photos to even out her low cut. Nia's adoption fee is $350 to go towards her vetting�%A0(vaccines, spay/neuter, heartworm/Ehrlichia/Lyme test, fecal test, pre-op blood work, dental cleaning, and microchip).
