Retired Adult (spayed) Cane Corso Female for Adoption.. Meet Turtle! This recently retired girl is looking for her new home out in the country.. Around these parts Turtle is quite the legend.. so first off please understand that for her own safety we will be very picky on where this awesome girl will be going.. so please be as open & honest as you possibly can when inquiring about her.. phone & facetime interviews as well as a thorough home check will be entirely necessary as well as providing verifiable references from your current veterinarian & mortgage company.. we want only THE BEST of home for this amazing girl..!! So what is it like having a 145# Turtle in your home..?? We are glad you asked..!! Turtle's perfect home would consists of a fairly active lifestyle.. mainly because this girl LOVES to travel & play! she really thinks that she is an overgrown cat & loves to greet you by rubbing up against you with all her weight which may cause a problem for those with balance issues (such as young children / elderly / handicap individuals etc.) so please keep that in mind.. she is a very gentle dog but a very large gentle dog..lol Her ideal retirement home would consist of a peaceful place to rest at the end of the day where she would be considered the center of attention.. she is an amazing sweetheart with a very endearing & stable temperament who loves everyone that she meets.. but that being said her worst downfall is that she is also a very BIG & powerful dog who does not like to share her personal space with other animals & will bite them without warning.. this would mean particularly her sleeping crate & food & water bowls so we feel that in lessor experienced hands she would really do best as the only pet in the home.. Turtle is completely house trained, vet trained, crate trained, kennel trained, leash trained & also travel trained as she has been across the country on her life's journey.. She grew up here with kids in the home & has been around many other dogs in her day.. She has been recently spayed, fully vaccinated & is ready to go once her dream home has been located.. Turtle is an extremely healthy girl.. she just turned 6 years old & for those of you wondering the breed life expectancy is aproximately10-12 years so she has a lot of good life still in her.. Turtle is still a very active mastino & loves to fetch until her hearts content (& will for many years to come), she is extremely playful, extremely lovey, super dedicated to her humans & absolutely LOVES going on adventures.. so she would be a great fit for an educated & active owner/family who likes to spend times outdoors. To be perfectly honest this is not a great choice of dog for first time dog owners.. they tend to have a great appetite & also require specialized supplements & nutrition & so they can sometimes be an extremely expensive & challenging breed to maintain / own as they are extremely large, clever & strong animals,.. so at least some large dog experience is preferred..
