About Princess Aurora

Princess Aurora is one of those rare cases of a dog who turned herself in! During our Saturday volunteer outing she wandered up to a volunteer and surrendered herself, maybe knowing she would have a chance at a better life. Princess Aurora is incredibly sweet and has definitely been through a lot in her short life on this planet. She deserves to be loved the rest of her days and know the comfort of a home and a bed...probably two things she has never felt before. We certainly hope someone can see past her shadow of an old life and recognize the diamond underneath waiting to shine. Please let us know if you could be that person for this sweet and calm girl. Please stop by the City of Jackson Animal Shelter at 140 Outer Circle, Jackson, MS during their adoption hr (10 - 4 M - F and 8:30-10:30 Sat) to meet Princess Aurora and take a leash with you so that you can take her outside for a walk and get to know her a little better.
