About Nixie

Nixie is a 3 year old very active Shepherd/terrier mix. She is extremely playful, hyper, and very smart! Her favorite activities include exploring the world, chasing rabbits, running, doing tricks, and at the end of the day sleeping on her people's feet. She knows basic commands, such as sit, stay, lay down, paw (high five), crawl, nose (to touch), bow, and dance. Her basic obedience exists, but has not been upkept. She needs a new owner who can be firm with her and help her re-establish that foundation. She does like to shred anything shreddable (not furniture) when she isnt watched and is kennel trained to help. She would do great with a very active owner, and does well with pair running. She does not do so well with bicycles, but given some patience she could pair with a bike. She would also do great in agility or hunting if given the proper training. She is extremely smart and learns fast but needs help with boundaries. Her prey drive is very high. She is e-collar trained.
