About Turtle

Turtle is a big scaredy-cat that is afraid of his shadow. Unfortunately he has cause to be but we are trying to change his world! We believe he was used as a bait dog for dog fighting ring. He is very afraid of people but after a while he warms up to you and will accept any love you are willing to give. He loves his food ( which is why he is a little chunky!) and lays quietly in his oversized crate and likes to chew on his dog bone. So why do they call him Turtle? Because he crawls along the floor slowly like a turtle. It is heartbreaking and we are hoping someone can give him a gentle loving place to land. Given time and patience he will come out of his shell! He has made a lot of progress already!
