About Cyrus

Adoption Fee: $175
Great Dane
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Hi! Im Cyrus, the newest gentle giant at FBS. My FBS family describes me as 'handsome and huge.' At three years old I am standing at three and a half feet tall and oh boy am I strong! I am a little skittish, scared of loud noises like fireworks, slamming doors, and other sudden noises. My FBS family was also told that I have separation anxiety, I have been feeling ok at FBS so far though, stay tuned! I don't have the best leash manners and I pull quite a bit, especially if I am scared and I am very strong. I will also be getting allergy tested soon as I have some skin and ear issues. I am really happy to be at FBS but am looking for a forever family! My ideal family will either have no dogs or larger dogs. I may not do well with small dogs or cats. They should also be able to handle my size and strength on a leash, help me learn my leash manners, and be able to help me manage my skin and ear itchiness. Will know more about what that entails soon hopefully! It could mean a strict diet, medication, or more. -------'%90--'%90------------------------------ Intake Date: 28 Sep 19 ----- Breed: Great Dane ----- Age: 3 yrs ----- Size: 3.5 feet tall, 125 lbs ----- Status: Owner surrender ----- Compatible with: Large dogs, children ----- Suitable for: home with fenced yard ----- Medical/Behavioral Needs: Slightly underweight, frequent urination, dry and scaly skin with skin loss, sensitive scarred itchy ears, possible separation anxiety (barking) -------'%90--------------------------------- If interested in meeting and potentially adopting please read the adoption requirements and complete the adoption application located at Adoption fee is $175.
