Meet Tucker, aka 'Tuck'. Tuck was found tied to a mobile pet vet just NE of Charlotte and he landed with RRI. This boy is a total SWEETHEART! He's great with other dogs of all sizes (he weighs 18#), and seems okay to be the submissive pet of the pack. Tuck is also good with kids, as there is a one year old in the foster home. His eyes are soulful! He was skittish the first 36 hours, but has since warmed to being at his foster home. Walks really well on the leash, loves belly rubs, and loves to snuggle. Tuck is UTD on vaccines, and will be neutered prior to adoption. Tuck is low-antigen positive for heartworms, and has started slow-kill treatment. He can be adopted out while in treatment, and is otherwise super healthy!!!! (The rescue pays for the slow-kill medication, even after adoption).
