About Ellie

This sweet little girl is named Ellie. She is maybe a Dashound, Min Pin, small terrier mix? She's about 4 months old and weights roughly 8 pounds. She is currently being fostered in Olympia, WA with four other dogs big and small and various ages and she does great. She is still a young puppy and has puppy energy but no so much that she annoys the older dogs. She can be jumpy around your feet and can trip up young children learning to walk or older folks who may have trouble balancing. She is with another puppy so I haven't seen her in a position of being super calm but she does like to crawl in your lap and cuddle or she can chew on a toy and be content. She's used to being in a crate, is learning the dog door and will be easy to house train with a family learning to work with her. She hasn't had any leash training at this time. She's also not been around cats but I think she would do fine with them or the cats will put her in her place. She can be a little possessive with her treats but not her food and it's not with humans, just the other dogs that come around. She doesn't fight just growls to let them know it's hers.
