About Texas Rose

Howdy, y'all, I'm Texas Rose. I once was lost but now am found, when a nice human came and saved me. I really like this place called a home because the man here gave me a blanket of my very own and he lets me sit with him. I follow him everywhere because sometimes food just seems to fall out of him!! There's two critters here like me--a nice boy and a mean gal who likes to pick on me, but I don't abide bullying. There's this other critter they call a cat, but I don't put much stock in it 'cause it's just a walkin' ball of fur. I'd be much obliged if you could offer me a home of my very own. I think you'd be quite pleased with me. At the age of 10, I still have my girlish figure and youthful bark, and I weigh a mere 7 lbs. I'll sleep under the covers with you, take car rides with you, go on walks, and give you kisses. I'd love to be your one and only, but if I had to, I guess I could share your pettin' hand with a boy dog. As much as I love you big humans, y'all's little versions scare the heck out of me. Please don't have any of them. I will need you to open the door so that I can go outside and do my thing. Would you please go out with me? I don't like being left out alone by myself, although I doubt you'd mind spending your time with a genuine Texas Rose. After all, everything's better in Texas.
