About Manny

Manny has been our dearly beloved family pet for almost 5yrs. We of course would love to keep him for the rest of his life, but regrettably have had to make the heartbreaking decision to give him up to a loving new home as we had a baby 1yr ago and he has never adjusted. We took the time to try and make it work, but after a year with little success and a second baby on the way, we think Manny will be much happier in a child-free home. Manny is a wonderful companion. He doesn't like to be picked up, but he will follow you around the house and loves to be where you are. He will sleep in bed with you, sit outside the shower while you shower, snuggle next to you on the couch and greet you at the door when you get home. He is quite energetic for an adult cat and is always up for some play time! He loves chasing a feather tied to the end of a string and loves giving the scratching posts a good scratch! He hasn't had many run ins with friendly cats so he is very wary of other cats, but has been quite friendly with dogs in the past. We believe he would be best suited to a couple who can dedicate a lot of time to him, without kids in the home and preferably with no other pets, or 1 other friendly pet at most. He is also an indoor cat only so if you would like to adopt him, we ask that you be prepared to keep him that way. Even better if you have previously owned a ragdoll with a similar temperament to Manny so you understand his little quirks.
