About Frankie

Lab / Border Collie
Age: Young Puppy
Sex: Male

Hi my name is Frankie! I am an 8 week old lab mix puppy. I've been living with my brother and 3 other dogs and get along with all of them. I haven't met any cats so I'm not sure what I'd think of them. I just started going outside so I'm not sure about this potty training thing yet but I think I'll pick up on it with some time and effort. I've been told I'm really smart! I know where my mom keeps the food and like to try to climb in the bag. I also like to try to climb out of my pen and have even succeeded a few times! I guess you could call me Spider-Man! My foster mom spent a lot of time cuddling me and holding me, which has made me into a very sweet puppy. Don't get me wrong, I love to play and run. But I will always be interested in you picking me up to cuddle. Can you give me a chance to show you who I am? I just might become your new best friend! Illinois law requires that all of our dogs and puppies be spay/neutered within 30 days of adoption. In order to fully comply with this regulation and reduce the number of homeless dogs and puppies, we do not permit out of state adoptions of unaltered dogs or puppies. Puppies have special needs and require a home where there will be someone available to care for, socialize, and train them during the day. If your family is away from the home for several hours at a time, please consider adopting a 'teen' or adult dog. Our standard adoption fee is $295 cash or check and $300 credit card ($5 processing fee). It includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at our participating vets, age appropriate core vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative,1st vet visit at one of our participating vets, and micro-chipping. We must have an application, conduct a phone interview, and meet your entire family to approve an adoption. Please email [email protected] for an application or additional details. Please note that the breeds and sizes posted in this biography are educated best guesses and are not guaranteed.
