About Nugget

LOCATED IN TAMPA ****COURTESY POST***** Meet Nugget! Nugget had a rough start to life , her previous owner got her to breed her to make money... When she couldn't have puppies , they dumped her in a crate in the backyard and rarely fed her. A neighbor was her angel , giving her water and food , until the owner finally let the neighbor take her to Louise. When she first got to Louise , she was fearful and unsocialized. She has come a long way! She takes a bit to warm up to a person , but once she does , she's super sweet and just wants to be loved. She's VERY energetic and loves to play with toys. She's currently in a foster home where she is learning basic obedience and socialization. Her future home will need to continue her training and socialization. An active home would be best for her so that she continues to get plenty of exercise. She would be perfect for someone who is a runner. She is petite and would do well with that. She is fine in a crate and house trained so far. Recommend crating when not home as she is still very mischievous. She walks great on a leash. Takes treat gently and no signs of food aggression. Don't recommend a home with small children. She would be fine with teenagers. Unknown how she is with cats , but will be tested shortly.
