About Jax

We adopted Jax from the Searcy Animal Shelter Operated by the Humane Society of Searcy in May of 2019 he was approximately 9 wks old at that time. We adopted him in hopes to be a good playmate for our 3 year old Hound/Shephard mix female. At the start it was normal playing as puppies go, but as he got a little bigger he started to play more rough and trying to show his dominance with our other dog. He does not like to be left out (very jealous if we pay any attention to our other dog and not him) He will push our other dog aside so he can get the attention instead of her. He will also steal her chew toys even if he has one already in his mouth. He is a very hyper dog and needs to run around. He seams to not fit in to our family as well as we hoped. What we think, but that is also our opinion of him is that he needs a home where he is the only dog so he can get the attention that he wants and needs. It's tough to do that at our house with another dog, a cat and kids.
