About Chloe19

Domestic Cat
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

I was brought to the shelter when I was around 8 weeks old and tested positive for feline leukemia (FeLV) and was all by myself for 30 days in quarantine, I was so lonely. Ever since my foster mommy picked me up from the vet, life has been wonderful. I have a big brother that loves to play with me all the time. We chase each other and wrestle and have the best time together. My big sister plays with me sometimes, too. I even get the dog to play with me a little. I just love everybody and everybody seems to love me. What's not to love? I like to play with cat toys but almost anything can be a cat toy to me. If you get to meet me, you will surely want to keep me forever! A note on FeLV-positive cats: They can live with other species (dogs, bunnies and so on), but must be the ONLY CAT or live with other felines who also have the disease. Leukemia-positive cats must be kept indoors and fed the best possible diet. Regular vet checkups are crucial for maintaining health. They may not live as long as other cats, but they can enjoy a good quality of life as long as they receive excellent care. Because FeLV-positive cats' immune systems are weak, they need aggressive treatment of any infections.
