About Lucy

This is the 1st and required step of the adoption process. We only adopt to inside homes. Lucy will need a securely fenced yard, ideally a privacy fence in her new home. If her ad is still up, we are still accepting applications! Meet Lucy. This 5 year old Australian Shepherd weighs about 40 pounds. She is looking for a new home ideally with a fenced yard. Lucy likes to have all the attention to herself. In a previous home she lived with children and cats. She has some issues with sharing attention with the other dog in the home which is why she is needing a forever home. Lucy would do best with someone who is home frequently or who can check in on her midday. She is ok being crated but doesnt love it. She has a bit of anxiety and does bark in the crate at first when going in which means apartments are not ideal for her. Lucy is housetrained. She would love a privacy fenced yard. Lucy is currently taking some medication to help her through her time at the kennel and in transition for anxiety. Adopters will be supplied with some medication for the first couple of months as needed. Lucy is spayed, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $150.
