About Bear

Bernese Mountain Dog
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

Bear is a sweet, energetic boy who we adopted at two months old, and is now 18 months. He is loved by our family and friends, and is good with people and other animals alike. Unfortunately, shortly after we adopted him, he was diagnosed with hip dysplasia. This means his hip socket that doesn't fully cover the ball portion of the upper thighbone, which causes his legs to pop out of the socket. He has seen vets for this issue and we have been managing his pain and activity levels. However, we cannot afford the full cost of the surgery or the rehabilitation time required afterwards. We could help pay for part of the surgery, but are looking for a family who could put in the time and resources needed to help him make a full recovery. He is up to date on all vaccines and is neutered.
